Apple took the market by storm, beginning with the new iPhone and then the Macbook with M1 chip. For those who do not know, Apple has been using the intel chips all this while before this model, which used the in-house silicon chip. 

As a matter of fact, the chip has increased the standing power of the processor by 3.8 times and comes loaded with features that can easily tackle heavy applications. 

Apple has mesmerized their clients with long-lasting products, but they have also taken another step up the ladder with this launch. Keyboard Backlight

Apple has removed that key using which you could easily control the keyboard backlight but do not worry as we have put things in place for you. Now, you need to manually set your keyboard brightness via the control center, which is a recent addition by MacOS Sur. Once you go to the control center, select Keyboard brightness and then adjust it by going left or right as per your preference. 

Icons to the Menu

As you have toured the control center, you would have noticed that all the previously present keys in the display menu are now stacked up in one place. It pretty much gives the desktop a neater look, but it is also a big task to open the control center for such minute changes. But, the good thing is that now you can just drag and drop the functionalities from the control center to your main menu for easy access. 

Keyboard Functionalities

Yes, a lot of keyboards have been replaced and removed, but in return, you have received some brand new key functionalities. For example, you can use the dictation feature just by pressing F5 and if you want to use the spotlight search, then just hit F6. 

Easy Sleep and Wake Up Mode

The M1 chip has given a lot of power to the new Macbook. If you have been using an iPhone or any other Apple gadget, you would know how smoothly they run. 

Unlike Windows and Android devices that take a lot of time to switch on, iPhone devices hardly take a second. Now, the same feature has been built on the Macbooks as well. So you will easily get lightning speed even if you put your Mac on sleep mode (tops you with more battery life).  

Updates

Since there are a lot of updates in this model, there is a chance that there will be a few glitches and problems at the very beginning. Despite new technology, issues are still possible, and you can see why they occur. 

In some instances, it is possible to solve the problems yourself. However, there will also be times when you will have to rely on Apple and wait for a hotfix from them.

Battery Percentage

With the brand new M1 chip, you get an extended battery life of about 17-18 hours on video, which is amazing. But, with the new features added to the display, you can no longer track your battery percentage on the screen on the first go. To bring that back, simply go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > Dock and Menu Bar > Battery. You can also bring it back to your main screen. 

Colors

You can add an accent color to everything, so no more blues in your life and on your Mac. You can pretty much change all the colors as and when you like without an added cost. Go to System Preferences > General > Accent Colour. So, which is going to be your first accent color?

Notifications

You can easily manage all your notifications from the newest Notification Centre easily. This is one of the many additions that the Macbook offers. So, you just need to right-click on any application to look at the notification slab. You can choose to shift them to the notification center or even disable them if you do not want any distractions while you are working.

Safari

This is a pro time for everyone who is using a Macbook. You should use Safari or Microsoft Edge while you are browsing the internet. Plus, the best thing is that you can even customize the entire look and feel of the browser with the newest M1 update. 

Available Applications

You can now easily use your laptop to work with demanding software like Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and a lot more. Moreover, there should be fewer problems with running games like Fortnite, COC, and many more.
